The name "Sum" recalls that of Susumaniello, an ancient vine typical of Puglia that has been for a long time on the verge of disappearing but fortunately rediscovered and valued in recent years. In turn, the term Susumaniello recalls a characteristic of this vine that, especially in its first decade of life, that is, when the plant can still be considered very young, is particularly productive. Left free to grow, in fact, it produces a large amount of clusters. It loads its branches just like a “somarello”. But Sum is above all Felline's tribute to this ancient vine. In the glass it comes in a beautiful deep and intense ruby red color. On the nose it turns out to be fruity first of all, with obvious memories of red fruit, but also flowers such as violets and roses. In the mouth he is rich and decisive. Fruity, soft and rather alcoholic. A wine that recalls all the warmth and scents of Puglia and that makes us think back to the beautiful teempi gone, when on the roads there were no big noisy trucks but only docili somarelli
