The "flagship" of Mieli Papagna production is Rosemary honey, from the Latin ros marinus, dew of the sea .
It is produced in the coastal area south of the Gargano, in a protected natural area that extends for more than 3000 hectares , where animals live in the wild, totally unspoiled nature.
Rare and delicious, light yellowish in color, it has a delicious flavor and is delicate and floral to the taste. Its scent has hints of white grape skin after pressing, memories of cherry blossom and apricot, with a slight marine note on the finish.
The palate is elegant, well balanced between sweetness, notes of flowers, beeswax and a finish of peeled almonds .
Our Rosemary honey has been awarded for about 20 years with 2 and 3 gold drops at the national competition for selection of the best honeys of national production, "GIULIO PIANA PRIZE-GREAT HONEY OF ITALY three drops of gold" held every year in Castel San Pietro Terme.
