A galant wine born of time: Capasonato

Time is certainly a fundamental element for this primitive wine. Produced through the skilful blending of two different vintages of pure Primitivo (1984 and 1985), this wine Capasonato Picheri Vinicola Savese is left to rest in the traditional "capasoni" (terracotta containers). 

It is precisely through the long period of rest in the terracotta that the wine is refined, but without affecting the aromas but rather amplifying and enriching them. A slow and prolonged anaerobic evolution that gives the product a unique balance.

All this also allows the wine to be bottled without the need for clarification, filtration and refrigeration.
